Created with the employees, for the employees.
Choice is committed to the health and safety of our employees, sub-contractors, visitors, the public, and the environment. We recognize that safety is of the utmost importance and will take precedence over and govern all forms of business we conduct. At Choice, workplace health and safety implementation, development, and maintenance are a shared responsibility between employees and management; created with the employees, for the employees.
All those conducting business on behalf of Choice have received orientation, training, and are deemed competent in the tasks they perform. Employees have access to the company health and safety program and are encouraged to actively participate, enhance, and challenge the program. At Choice, we believe that long-term safety requires continual re-evaluation and improvement.
At Choice, health and safety is our first priority and integral to our corporate culture. We believe in preparing our team by providing premium training. All of our field personnel are trained in Common Safety Orientation (CSO), H2S Alive, Standard First Aid and CPR, Ground Disturbance (Level II), Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS), Bear Awareness and Response, ATV and ARGO Safety, and our corporate health and safety and environment orientation program.
Choice meets and exceeds industry health and safety standards and is proud to have obtained Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR) through Energy Safety Canada.
